Lenovo reveals new Thinkpad powered by AMD Pro Processor

Lenovo is going to add a new A-series laptop to the Thinkpad series wih AMD Pro Processor. Two laptops are going to release for this A – series : Thinkpad A275 and A475. These laptops will have more than ten hours of battery life and LTE-A high speed broadband connectivity. “With today’s increasingly demanding applications, multi-tasking requirements and need for protection against an ever-growing number of threats, business PC users require more processing power than ever and that’s exactly what AMD delivers with the dedicated commercial processor, AMD PRO & AMD Ryzen PRO,” said David Bennett, corporate vice president and general manager, Lenovo global account, AMD.

As reported , both of these laptops will have up to 7th gen AMD Pro A12 processor with AMD Radeon R7 graphics and up to 512GB NVMe M2 SSD or 1TB HDD. These laptops will have Type-c usb ports and match on chip touch fingerprint reader. Both have anti glare technology , up to FHD resolution and optional touch. A275 starts at 1.31 KG with a 12.5 inch display and A475 1.57 KG with a 14 inch display.

A275 will be available in October and A475 in September. A275 starts at $869 and A475 starts at $849. By default these laptops will have Windows OS installed .
